Brief description:
With the Empyrean, PANalytical has set the new standard for a multipurpose diffractometer. In developing the ultimate X-ray platform for the analysis of powders, thin films, nanomaterials and solid objects, the PANalytical R&D team has redesigned all key components of the X-ray diffractometer from the ground up.

Limitation

Limitations are varies for every running test as:
1. Powder analysis-Sample must be powder
2. Thin film-Sample must be solid with thickness of coating minimum 20 micron
3. High temp. measurement-Cannot control cooling rate
-Result will have Pt peak as a result of using Pt sample stage
-Heat from room temperature to 1400 °C
